AUDI A8 review in detail:

Audi has long had a reputation for leading the way with the latest in high-tech automotive engineering and prides itself on its advanced technology.

Major features of this large, luxurious limo-style car are all-aluminium construction and all-wheel drive, with the pampered traveller cocooned in quality and luxury in the leather, wood and aluminium interior. Ride comfort and noise reduction are also features of this large Audi.

The seats are set out for two rather than three which is sensible, although a third can travel in reasonable comfort should there be the need to carry five.

If those sitting in the front seats choose to have their seats a long way back they will intrude into the rear-seat space, but legroom is generally plentiful.

With its natural territory being the high-speed autobahns in Germany it is naturally at its best on smooth motorways, but the A8 can cope with the rougher Australian roads pretty well.

Although there is a sporting note in the way the suspension is set up, the system is variable and generally smoothes everything right out.

Audi A8 has a lot of road grip and the relatively low weight achieved by using an aluminium body means it is much more nimble than you would expect for a car of this size.

The S8 high-performance model is the latest variant in the A8 lineup.

When will the AUDI A8 be updated next?

The AUDI A8 update is expected to be around 12 2007

The Audi A8 gets steering, suspension and running gear revisions around December 2007. It is supposed to result in a more comfortable ride.
