The Ferrari 599 Review in detail:

$make $model Reviews
The fabulous 599 GTB Fiorano is the latest Ferrari model to hit our shores, named for Ferrari's legendary test track.

If you want to try for a full-on experience of its tremendous abilities this Ferrari can certainly be used at the race track, although primarily it is a road car.

It comes with 620-brake horsepower on tap with a huge V12 engine displacing 6.0 litres.

Though mounted in front of the cabin, the big engine is set well back so the Italian masterpiece can rightfully be called mid-engined with all that means in the way of great on-road grip and superb balance.

That is further enhanced by weight reduction due to the extensive use of aluminium.

There are many clever features, particularly in the suspension and traction-control departments, that permit you to push the car to its limits and feel secure in the knowledge that it will do its best to keep you out of trouble.

Ferraris are aimed very much at the extrovert, preferably the extrovert who genuinely likes to drive, not just to go cruising and calling out for shallow attention.
