The Honda INTEGRA Review in detail:

$make $model Reviews
Honda has announced the discontinuation of the Integra. There seems to be a slump in the coupe market that has gone on for several years; somewhat oddly, the vehicles of the moment are 4WDs.

As a result, Honda and other coupe makers held onto older models for longer rather than putting big dollars into developing new ones.

Integra is a neat design so doesn't really look as though it's now in its sixth year on the market.

Only two Integra variants are currently on offer in Australia, the Integra Luxury and the Integra Type S.

The latter is the red-hot variant that is very Honda Integra in that it features a peaky engine, sharp steering and a firm ride.

The latter may upset those looking for a pretty cruiser rather than a full-on sports machine.

The Type S engine puts out a stratospheric 210 horsepower, from 6000 rpm upwards it produces an enormous push in the back, but be aware that the top torque figure isn't generated until there's 7000 rpm on the dial.

If changing gears is not your thing you should probably look to the Luxury, not the Type S.

But if you do like working at getting the best from a car, you will delight in the slick six-speed shifter, not to forget the extravagant exhaust note, big brakes, and great grip.
