The Hyundai TRAJET Review in detail:

$make $model Reviews
Hyundai Trajet (pronounced as tra-jay, derived from the French word, meaning "travel from one point to another")is getting on in years but has improved in value as it is actually cheaper today than at its 2000 release. The 2007 Trajet minivan offers lots of value for the buck, with plenty of safety and comfort features, excellent crash test ratings and a price tag that's among the lowest in its class. It's a smart choice for families on a budget.

This South Korean people mover has bucket seats in the front and in the centre rows, with a two-third/one-third split folding bench seat in the rear. The drawback of centre bucket seats is that when the back seat is folded down Trajet is a four-seater, not a five.

On the other hand, having four bucket seats in the forward part of the vehicle makes for improved comfort. Tall drivers may find themselves cramped for legroom.

The suspension is on the firm side and there is more kickback through the steering than some drivers may like, though there's good road grip for a people mover. It has a V6 engine, something that's not common in small-medium people movers.

Boasting impressive acceleration, the Entourage's capable V6 is never at a loss for power in both city and highway driving. Shifts are usually smooth and well-timed, though the transmission can occasionally be a little slow to respond. Those who travel in this Hyundai will experience a ride that's both comfortable and quiet; however, handling isn't especially athletic. The 2007 Hyundai Entourage responds predictably around corners, but it has less precise steering (and more body roll) than you'd get from its class-leading competition.

Fit and finish could be better with some plastic parts looking low grade, showing that cost cutting is evident in some areas. Hyundai quality has improved considerably in the last few years, but as an older model the Trajet is lagging in this important area.
