MITSUBISHI COLT review in detail:

Mitsubishi has greatly improved the Colt range by importing the Ralliart Colt, a hot turbo version with firmer suspension, much improved steering and a good-looking body kit.

For what it is, it's relatively well priced.

The Ralliart Colt only comes with a manual gearbox, a five-speed unit in this case.

Six speeds would have been nice but would have added to the cost of the car; it's likely a six-speed unit might be on the cards in the future.

On a slightly more mundane but more practical move, Mitsubishi is also offering a manual gearbox in its Colt, as its unavailability hampered sales of the original models.

The styling at the front of the Colt is to be admired with the way the windscreen pillars continue all the way down to the bumper without any deviation from a straight line.

There's good interior space for four adults, with sensible legroom in the rear seat due to its being adjustable. Boot space is restricted if the back seat is set all the way rearwards to achieve the best legroom, but that's an understandable compromise in a car of this size.

Overall refinement is good and ride comfort is better than average for this class.

However, it could be said that the handling and steering are on the soft side, with the Ralliart obviously being a major exception to this.
