BENTLEY CONTINENTAL review in detail:

The Bentley Continental Grand Touring Convertible (or Bentley GTC) is a beautiful looking two-door soft-top that's guaranteed to impress all who see it.

The interior is of the type that the British do so well, and pushing the button that automatically lowers the Bentley GTC's soft-top reveals all.

As would be expected, the interior is all quality leather and timber, much of it hand-finished in the Bentley factory in Crewe, England.

The front seats are spacious and supportive in a grand manner.

Though this is technically a four-seater for that number of adults, those in the back should ideally be smaller than average (or kids).

Not having the bulky hardtop folded away inside the boot is a great benefit of using a soft-top in that it provides a larger boot size for personal use. So big sets of golf clubs, or matching leather suitcases, can be stowed with ease.

This is certainly not just a pretty cruiser, but a driver's car.

Its superb all-wheel-drive system tames the torque being generated by the big 550 horsepower, 12-cylinder, twin-turbo engine.

This has a top speed of over 300km/h and Bentley tells us it is the fastest convertible in the world.

However it's not all about speed - this car can dispatch huge distances with minimal fuss.
