The Citroen C2 Review in detail:

$make $model Reviews
The Citroen C2 is the smallest model from the famed French marque to be imported to Australia.

It was expected it to have been a better seller as it has plenty of character and style, however it doesn't seem to be taking much attention away from big brother Citroen C3.

As the Citroen C2 is such a small car, the designers opted to seat just two adults in the back seat, which was a sensible move instead of trying to squeeze three people in.

The twin rear seats can slide forward to significantly increase luggage space, which is a useful feature.

The C2's rear hatch opens in two sections, so the tailgate can be opened to give good access.

A hotter version of the Citroen C2, tagged the VTS, is based on the Junior WRC competition car and is aimed at the keen driver.

The C2 VTR and VTS are both powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine that's willing and spirited in its actions.

The standard automated manual gearbox in the VTR can be frustrating at times in its somewhat rough actions so is not to all tastes. The VTS has a conventional five-speed manual and is really enjoyable to drive, though it doesn't have a huge amount of punch in a straight line.
