SUZUKI SX4 review in detail:

Suzuki SX4 is based on the Swift. It s part hatchback and part station wagon and has additional ground clearance, as well as the traction offered by driving all four wheels. You wouldn't call it a 4WD in the true sense of the word, but as an all-road vehicle it works well and can certainly tackle forest trails with great ease. If you do plan to try some light-duty off-road driving, however, we would suggest carrying a full-size spare.

The 2.0-litre engine has decent torque over most of the rev band.

As you would expect in this class, the Suzuki normally drives only through the front wheels, with the rears being brought into the game either automatically or manually depending on driver preference.

The A-pillars are a little large which restricts visibility around corners, but small windows between the pillars provide extra visibility when required.

The rear seating provides ample leg room for a vehicle of this size, but is lacking in head room.
Suzuki SX4 has a decent boot with plenty of depth, thanks to the fitment of a space-saver spare wheel.

The door panels and dash are extremely well fitted; the radio and climate control do not look tacked-on as an afterthought as so many vehicles in this range are.

On the highway the Suzuki feels very well planted and larger than it really is. Noise is kept to a minimum with the engine turning about 2300rpm at highway speeds.
Handling is competent for this class, with good balance and little understeer unless it's pushed hard.
